Handmade Wire Wrapped Ruby & Hammered Sterling Silver Necklace Pendant ·
A rich red & opaque genuine Ruby gemstone briolette has been hand wire wrapped in Sterling silver, suspended from a hand hammered silver ring, then attached to a delicate Sterling silver chain. The chain is adorned with two additional faceted genuine ruby gemstones and four Sterling silver faceted beads. The necklace is terminated with two faceted Sterling silver beads and a Sterling silver spring ring clasp. The sterling silver was oxidized (antiqued) to a deep charcoal finish, then hand brushed and polished to bring out the silver highlights. This gives an organic, natural finish with depth.
These genuine rubies are a cool red tone and opaque, cut in a "pear" briolette shape, and faceted for light reflection.
Ruby is the birthstone for the month of July.
