Mixed Metal Hammered Antiqued Copper & Sterling Silver Medium Coin Disc Earrings ·
Antiqued pure copper & Sterling Silver coins were hand hammered, formed and shaped in gentle concave discs, then suspended from handmade solid .925 Sterling Silver ear wires.
I darkened (oxidized) and hand brushed and polished the pure, raw copper and Sterling Silver to obtain the patina on the metals. The Sterling Silver used in making the earrings is recycled; made from scrap and re-torched to form & shape. The raw copper is pure copper and the Sterling Silver is .925 silver.
These earrings are a wonderful everyday earring with a minimalist and versatile design and an easy-going, boho aesthetic.
