Handmade Labradorite Sterling Silver Necklace ·

A single petite genuine labradorite gemstone is simply wire wrapped in sterling silver and suspended from a Sterling Silver chain. The ends of the chain are finished with two sterling silver faceted beads and a Sterling Silver spring ring clasp.

This stone has a grey base color with beautiful, natural schiller: iridescent flashes of blue, green and teal colors that change with the direction of light hitting the stone. The lovely focal gemstone is cut in a "pear" briolette shape and faceted for light reflection. The sterling silver in this piece has been oxidized (aged/antiqued) to a dark charcoal finish, then brushed and polished to bring out the silver highlights. This creates a natural, rustic finish with both shine and depth.
